The Conrad Hilton Hotel and Towers in Chicago. The Conrad Hilton, once the Stevens Hotel and largest hotel in the world boasting 3, 000 rooms remains a huge establishment.to this day. It sits along south Michigan Avenue among it varied and unique architecture. Also shown in the scene next to the HIlton Chicago, at left, are from left the Blackstone Hotel, the blue-clad Roosevelt University Vertical Campus and the red CNA Center. In the left foreground is the General John Logan Memorial Statue in Chicago's Grant Park. Logan, a native of Illinois, was a general in the American Civil War and also served in the US Senate and House of Representatives from Illinois. He is also known for being the leading advocate for the establishment of Memorial Day as a United States holiday.
