Questa immagine potrebbe avere delle imperfezioni perché è storica o di reportage.

Following a first project experience in Mozambique in 2007, Studio Arco began a process of international cooperation to address and solve problems in emergency situations. From 2009 to 2012, they set up three schools in Palestine: The Tyres School, the Desert School and the Sandbags School. Their projects define sustainability criteria, focusing on the social meaning, through processes that encourage self-construction by the inhabitants and the choice of using techniques aimed at recycling and using poor materials. The Studio, composed of young people under 40, is winner of the Renzo Piano Foundation Award 2011
