Altre informazioni

Construction of the footbridge started in 1998 and opened on 10th June, 2000. It is a pedestrian steel supension bridge linking Bankside with the City of London. It has been built between Blackfriars Railway Bridge and Southwark Bridge and was used in the Harry Potter film The Half Blood Prince. It was nicknamed the Wobbly bridge due to the uncomfortable/swaying movement felt by pedestrians. The bridge closed two days after opening, for two years to rectify the problem.
