Paul and Beryl Rowlands arrive at Swindon Crown Court. Mrs Rowlands has pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing 1.7 million from her employers unbar Bank, a subsidiary of Allied Dunbar. *...Her husband has pleaded not guilty to three charges of handling stolen goods and a further six charges of dishonestly obtaining wrongful credit. Mrs Rowlands was due to be sentenced at the court today, but was remanded in custody when her case was adjourned until November 9. Mr Rowlands was granted bail on condition that he surrenders his passport, lives at his home address in Blunsdon, near Swindon, and does not apply for international travel documents.
