One Central Park, part of a major urban renewal project in the Sydney subrub of Chippendale called Central Park. The site, just outside the city centre, was previously a brewery. One Central Park is the tallest skyscraper of the development, and was designed by architect Jean Nouvel. One of its striking features is the exterior gardens, some of whcih are vertical. These were designed by Partick Blanc, and are supplemented by artwork forms of LED lights by Yann Kersale. Also eye-catching is the large cantileved heliostat - a large array of mirros that turn to reflect sunlight to the area below - possibly the largest in the world. The building is an apartment complex with a shopping centre at the base. In 2014, the building was chosen as the fifth best skyscraper in the world by Emporis.
