37-year-old Wang Xilin takes pictures with his wife Yang Hongqin at a caring conference for people with OI (Osteogenesis Imperfecta) in Schonbrunn Hotel Beijing, China, 22 August 2011. A caring conference for people with OI (Osteogenesis Imperfecta) was held in Beijing on 22 August 2011. Two couples (three persons of which suffer from OI) take the vows before members of 138 families with OI. The founder of an OI care center said, few people with OI dare to get married. The 37-year-old bridegroom Wang Xilin who has broken his leg for 100 times before 19 is only 108 centimeters tall. People suffering from OI have brittle bones which break more easily than others. They are small and often use a wheelchair, crutches or a walker. Some people with OI have operations to have metal rods put in their bones, to help make the bones stronger. But kids with OI are just like other kids in lots of other ways. Adults with OI can go to college, get jobs, drive a car, get married, have children, go on trips, and live in their own house or apartment.
