Drag performer and entertainer Kiki Inferno poses beside a colourful Warrington Pride banner during the town’s Pride celebrations at Time Square in Warrington, Cheshire, on 13 June 2026. Holding a microphone and smiling towards the camera, the performer wears a sparkling silver sequinned outfit with a red studded belt, blonde wig, theatrical eye makeup and distinctive curled handlebar moustache. The glamorous costume and flamboyant styling reflect the visual spectacle, creativity and celebratory character traditionally associated with drag performance and Pride events. The vertical event banner displays the words Warrington Pride in multicoloured lettering above rainbow-inspired yellow, green, blue and purple graphics. Time Square’s modern brick and glass buildings can be seen behind the performer, placing the portrait within the regenerated civic and entertainment quarter in Warrington town centre. Warrington Pride 2026 took place across Time Square, Warrington Market, Golden Square and other central locations on Saturday 13 June. The programme brought together live music, drag performers, community organisations, local businesses, speeches, family activities and a Pride parade supporting equality, inclusion and LGBTQIA visibility. The free public celebration was promoted as a welcoming event for LGBTQIA people, their families, friends and allies. Kiki Inferno was also advertised as the host of the official Warrington Market Pride after-party. Pride festivals combine entertainment and celebration with continuing campaigns for equality, representation, acceptance and protection from discrimination. This editorial portrait can illustrate Warrington Pride, British drag culture, LGBTQ visibility, gender expression, community diversity, regional Pride festivals, inclusive town-centre events and the role of performers in creating welcoming public celebrations.
