. This dated editorial view of the recorded location in 2017 captures more than the immediate subject, retaining clues about local use, design, activity and change. The photograph centres on The Parr Hall Warrington, Plaque, North West England, UK. The image also relates to regional identity, conservation interest, architectural detail, adaptive reuse, urban fabric, period detail, contemporary social history, local character, public realm, commemorative plaque, everyday life, heritage asset, social-history object, and before-and-after reference. Current relevance extends to local history and provenance, particularly through how everyday objects can survive as evidence of earlier work and domestic life. In present-day coverage, the subject reaches into adaptive reuse and tourism, not least because of how historic buildings acquire new uses as cities change. The image fixes commercial use and occupation within the recorded location at one identifiable point, providing a benchmark against different community use. A second descriptive layer includes museum object, period architecture, antique object, historical comparison, archival record, visual archive, historic inscription, and local-history evidence. References to Plaque give the picture a strong period identity and tie it closely to its named subject. A later view of the recorded location may show a very different setting, increasing the value of this precise record of its earlier appearance and activity. Another strand within the photograph is local history and how museums turn individual objects into wider stories about place and people within the real-world context of the recorded location. The setting also helps illustrate adaptive reuse and how historic buildings acquire new uses as cities change within the specific setting of the recorded location. The frame retains details of everyday use for later comparison. Image MHM662 also remains a dated record of the recorded location.
