Louis Renard - Finmarchiae et Laplandiae Maritima, 1715. Louis Renard, a Dutch publisher, bookseller & engraver (1678-1746), published maps from Fredrick de Wit’s, a Dutch cartographer (1629-1706), original copper plates, bought by Renard in 1710. Renard updated plates from 1710 and he initially published them under his own name in 1715. Then Renard sold plates to Rennier and Joshua Ottens who continued to publish them in 1739 and 1745 in Amsterdam.
