The interior of Rosie's Diner is shown Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, in Greenville, Mich. The diner was originally going to be auctioned off before the a private offer was accepted earlier this week. The iconic restaurant, built in 1946 by the Paramount Dining Car Co., originally was named the Silver Dollar Diner and sat in Little Ferry, N.J. It became famous after being featured in a series of 1970s TV commercials for Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble Co.'s Bounty paper towels.
