Torre di Palme is a fraction of the municipality of Fermo, in the province of the same name. It was an autonomous municipality until 1877, when it was included in the province of Ascoli Piceno, to which it continued to belong with its capital, until the latter in turn became the provincial seat (2004). It rises 104 m above sea level. close to the Adriatic Sea, and has a population of 670 inhabitants. It is a medieval village that entirely preserves the ancient encased and, constituting a high point very close to the sea, enjoys a remarkable panoramic view of the marine coast, in correspondence with the nearby hamlet of Marina Palmense and the A14 motorway that runs alongside it.
