One of the fashionable shops of East Village. The area around Astor Place, is an area of the East Village say with almost bordering Greenwich Village, St Marks Place this departure from Aston Street Place and Tompkins Square Park reaches across the park is called E 8th St (which would be the name that would apply from the beginning). Astor Place in principle can not be anything special, but it has charm, the entrance to the subway seems a replica of a kiosk Beaux Arts and is an unexpected space if you arrive from a dark street. St Mark's Place (or St. Mark's in the Bowery) is the main artery of the East Village, is a vibrant at any time of day or night (mostly night) street. With many shops and stalls in the area near Aston Place perhaps too "tourist" looks like a rake to outsiders.
