Feb. 28, 2012 - KATMANDU CURES HIPPIES: FIRST HIPPY WEDDING IN NEPAL The clear air and holiness of the Nepalase llames have proved an attractio for the world's hippies. Now the first pair have been married and declared their intention of withdrawing from their hippy life and returning to the U.S.A. to lead a normal family life thanks to Nepal and ''the Lord of Peace and Prosperity''.KNUT-RAINER PFLUGHAUPT, 21, from West Germany, became a hippy in 1962 and his hippy wife LAURA SHEEHAN, 21 of Milli Valley, California, became a hippy wanderer in 1967.
