Ronnie Wood, B.1.6.1947 Of the Rolling Stones, The Small Faces, And the Jeff Beck Group.Started his career in 1964 with The Birds. Performed alongside Eric Clapton and Pete Townshend at Clapton's comeback concert in 1973, In 1974 he did his own album with 'I've Got My Own Album To Do'. Wood also played alongside Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neill Diamond, and Dr John at the finale of the Last Waltz in 1976. When Mick Taylor left the Stones in 1974 Woods seemed the automatic replacement. He did and stayed there for the next 3 decades. While playing with The Stones he did his own record '1234' in the eighties. He has always been a painter but in the 80s added it to his professional skills. He is one of the most successful artists (of many kinds) that we have.
