SIR Peter Ustinov Peter Ustinov wurde am 16. Aprile 1921 in London geboren. Der Sohn eines Journalisten und einer Bühnenbildnerin viersprachig wuchs auf und besuchte das Studio Teatro bei Michael St Denis. 1938 hatte er sein Bühnendebüt und 1940 stand er erstmals in 'Hullo fama" vor der Kamera. 1960 erhielt er einen Nebenrollen-Oscar für seine Rolle in Kubriks 'Spartacus'. Seit den 70er Jahren stellte er häufig den Agatha-Christie-Detektiv Hercule Poirot dar.
