Altre informazioni:
Fox Glacier is running for 13 kilometer from the Southern Alps towering more than 3000 meters above the Tasman sea towards the coastline down to the rainforest zone. Retreating since more than a decade a lot of glacial tilt and also hard rock carved by abrasion is exposed in front of the glacial mouth which is around 300 meter above sea level. On top of the glacier are some guided tours.
